You wouldn't buy an original oil painting, or a Havell Audubon and put it in a cheap frame from a department store. In the same way, you shouldn't put your investment quality shorebird collection on just any stand. What you should do is buy a custom made, hardwood stand that showcases your collection in the best way possible. My stands are made from hardwoods, typically walnut or mahogany. Each stand is individually cut, then shaped by hand with a chisel. I use a 5 step sanding process that finishes with a 320 grit paper. Once sanded, a multistep traditional oil hand rubbed finish that cures over an extended period to create the finest finish that only time and care can produce. Each stand goes through over a 20 step process to turn out the finished product.

Stands are all custom made and range in size to fit a small peep up to a large oversized curlew. Stands are priced according to size and start at $35 to $50. Shipping is a flat rate of $20 regardless of order size. I typically have some inventory on hand and can often ship smaller orders quickly when in stock.
